Dr. Suat Genç

Dr. Suat Genç is the founder and CEO of the School with over 25 years of experience in technology and innovation. He has served as a researcher, faculty member, engineer, trainer, consultant, entrepreneur, and C-level executive. Additionally, Dr. Genç is currently a part-time faculty member at Boğaziçi University and a board member at Gebze Technical University Technopark in Turkiye.

Until recently, Dr. Genç served as General Manager of BMC Power Company for four years. During this time, he oversaw the development of Power-Packs (Engine, Transmission, and Cooling Systems) for both military and commercial vehicles, including the Altay Main Battle Tank and Armored Vehicles. His accomplishments include pioneering the development of four military engines and a transmission, transforming the company from a 60- person operation into a world-class R&D team of 350 people, establishing an assembly center and a test center, and creating an ecosystem comprised of 600 international suppliers. In 2020, Dr. Genç was awarded the "Best Technology Company Grand Award" by Teknopark Istanbul.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Genç served as Vice President for eight years at MAM and BİLGEM Research Centers of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TÜBİTAK). His responsibilities included developing methodologies for strategy and technology management, as well as creating new business models to transfer available technologies to industrial companies. Dr. Genç pioneered TÜBİTAK's first commercial technology transfer from BİLGEM research labs to the industry.

Dr. Genç worked as Product Development Coordinator at the Turkish Institute for Industrial Management (TUSSIDE/TÜBİTAK) for seven years. In this role, he offered professional R&D training and certification programs, as well as consulting services to over 500 companies. Notably, Dr. Genç initiated the establishment of certificate programs at TÜBİTAK for the first time, based on the decisions of the Scientific Board

Dr. Genç also worked for five years as a Senior Systems Development Engineer for Plug Power Fuel Cell Company (General Electric) in New York. His responsibilities included a wide range of technology and system development activities. During this time, Genç obtained two commercialized American patents.

Dr. Genç is an active participant in Turkish national technology and innovation initiatives. He was a founding member of the TÜBİTAK Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Committee, tasked with developing the national infrastructure for establishing, financing, and auditing academic technology transfer offices at Turkish universities.

At Boğaziçi University, Dr. Genç was extensively involved in student project activities, serving as an instructor, jury member, and consultant to aspiring entrepreneurs. Drawing from this experience, he has founded three startups in the USA and Turkiye.

Dr. Genç earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (Istanbul, Turkiye) and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in the same field from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York, USA).

Doğan Aral

Doğan Aral is a seasoned mechanical engineer with 35 years of diverse experience in field operations, business operations, project management, training, and consulting. His extensive background has rooted his career in the practical realities and challenges of fieldwork..

Aral has held numerous managerial roles encompassing strategy, budgeting, and information technology. He has established and led project management offices, successfully overseeing more than 100 projects. Notable projects and programs he has led include:

 Executing an IT services outsourcing project that secured a multi-million USD contract with a strategic partner, ensuring sustainable IT services quality.

  Managing the business process restructuring of a joint venture following the merger of two companies.

 Enhancing project portfolio management performance by establishing and managing Project Management Offices (PMO).

 Organizing and delivering courses for business professionals, including those from Fortune 500 companies, focusing on project, program, portfolio, and change management concepts, incorporating agile methodologies.

A committed lifelong learner, Aral is currently exploring the applications of Artificial Intelligence in project management. He is enrolled in the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program in British Columbia, Canada, to further enhance his teaching proficiency and effectiveness. He holds ACC and PMP certifications

Yusuf Şahin

Yusuf worked with PwC Tax for five years between 1998 and 2003. He possesses extensive national and international experience as a Finance Manager and Finance Director in Tansaş Perakendecilik (FMCG), Öger Turizm Grubu (Tourism), and Fujitsu (IT). In 2013, he established Neura Audit, Advisory, and Accounting Firm. Yusuf is a Qualified Independent Accountant Financial Adviser (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and a KGK-registered Independent Auditor. He also holds a Basic and Advanced Level License for Capital Market Activities from the Capital Markets Board of Turkiye (SPK).

He has served as a lecturer and instructor in numerous training programs related to accounting and finance. He has also mentored at various technology parks and incubation centers. Yusuf is an expert in tax incentives for software and gaming companies, including Teknopark, Tekmer, and Free Trade Zone benefits. Additionally, he has invested in multiple startups and holds an Angel Investor license. Yusuf graduated from METU with a degree in Business Administration and earned a Master's degree in Economics. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in crypto asset accounting and taxation.

Gürşan Gürel

Gursan possesses broad human resources knowledge and experience acquired in multinational and multicultural environments since 1979. He has worked in ten different industries, ranging from mining to cement and FMCG, primarily on change, privatization, startup, and phase-out projects in various countries, including his home country. He recently retired after completing a reorganization project for The Coca-Cola Bottler, Iran, which afforded him the opportunity to live in Iran for over five years. He also designs and delivers corporate development training programs such as Leadership & Change Management, Leadership for Agile & Resilient Organizations (Workshops), Leadership for Creativity & Performance, and Strategic Thinking & Planning. He has recently undertaken change and reshaping projects in the automotive, abrasives, ship management, and wind & solar energy industries.

Dr. Richard Dahman

Dr. Richard Dahman is the creator of the BireyselValue Algorithm, a novel method for addressing classification problems. As a Senior AI Models Creator, Data Scientist, and Inventor, he possesses over 18 years of experience in management and information technologies. His expertise lies in applying AI problem-solving techniques to social science research, business development, financial product solutions, R&D, and various industries. With an interdisciplinary background, he has achieved success in both the industrial and academic realms. Dr. Dahman currently assists organizations in adopting the AI problem-solving paradigm through his innovative framework, Dahman's Phi Services, thereby enhancing their business processes, efficiency, and innovation.

He also utilizes this framework to support and oversee research for undergraduates, postgraduates, and scholars. His ongoing research centers on AI frameworks and various related topics, including security and new methodologies. Holding a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, Dr. Dahman is the originator and author of 'The Big Bang of Data Science—from Academia to Industry.' He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications, drafts, and media presentations. Having lived and worked internationally, Dr. Dahman is described by peers as analytical, creative, goal-oriented, and profoundly humanitarian.
